I was inspired to pursue a Ph.D. because of my fascination with the complex mechanisms of DNA and its role in gene regulation. My research allows me to explore DNA looping in detail, combining biophysics and molecular biology to uncover how macromolecular crowding and protein interactions affect DNA behavior. I’m driven by the opportunity to contribute to advancements in understanding DNA and transcription process.
